the antivirus simply sees that the app can modify files and decides to mark it as a threat. So yeah, it would be more worth it if custom maps should be made (or supposed to be made) featured into steam workshop, so that people Won't have to download programes to get custom map appear in game that have virus if they want to keep there computer safe (i don't know, but i think steam workshop is virus free, as long as they got 'Anti-Virus' programs).
